One of only twenty-five in the United States
AWCI, the
Association of the Wall and Ceiling industries, launched the
EIFSmart Contractor Program, a new recognition level for EIFS
contracting companies that meet
the specific criteria. These companies will be called "EIFSmart
Contractors" because they will have demonstrated their commitment
to quality workmanship and procedures for installing exterior
insulation and finish systems.
Poellinger Inc., has been recently
awarded this prestigious honor. The primary
criterion for the recognition
is the company's commitment to standardized, generic EIFS training
that leads to national certification. "EIFSmart Contractors"
will have a bidding edge as more and more architects specify this type
of specialized company accreditation.
